Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Outpatient Surgery with mid-shift hours in Wisconsin. The role involves providing compassionate nursing care, administering medications, and coordinating patient plans within an interdisciplinary team.

The position requires BSN or enrollment in a BSN Completion Program, and RN licensure in the state of practice. Expect 40 hours per week with flexible mid-shift scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN required or enrollment in BSN completion program.
• 12 months RN experience preferred depending on department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques and policies.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care as prescribed by Physician and clinic policy.
• Participates in department/unit performance improvement activities.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to support patient care plan.
• Escalates patient safety concerns to the appropriate chain of command.
