Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Outpatient Infusion at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This per-diem day shift role focuses on safe chemotherapy administration, patient education, and coordinated care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active NJ RN license, BLS, and chemotherapy certification with at least 3 years of related experience. EPIC EMR proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related chemotherapy experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required.
• EMR experience with EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families for informed care decisions.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to coordinate care.
