Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic - Med Surg unit at Springfield Regional Medical Center. The RN will deliver patient care using the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while upholding compassionate care and organizational values.

The role requires one year of RN experience and current licensure, with preferred BLS or ACLS.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience (required).
• Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in state they are working or covered by compact (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete patient assessments and maintains current nursing care plans.
• Administers medications in a safe manner per policy and procedure.
• Coordinates patient care across departments and acts as patient safety advocate.
• Collaborates with spiritual care, palliative care and ethics to support patients and families.
