Job summary

Adventist Health in Portland, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. The role plans and coordinates surgical services, runs reports on perioperative operations, and ensures accurate implant and charge entries.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma; an associate/technical degree and supervisory experience are preferred, along with specialty experience in ophthalmology, ENT, endoscopy, orthopedics or plastic surgery.

Qualifications

High School education or GED required.
Associate/Technical degree preferred.
Three years of technical experience preferred.
Two years of supervisory or preceptor experience preferred.
Specialization in ophthalmology, ENT, endoscopy, orthopedics or plastic surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinating management of all phases of surgical service and scheduling.
Running daily and monthly perioperative reports.
Reviewing daily billing charges and correcting discrepancies with the department Manager.
Verifying surgeon preference cards and ensuring correct equipment is pulled for procedures.
Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
