Job summary

SCA Health is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in Oregon. The role focuses on assessing patients perioperatively and developing individualized perioperative care plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires nursing licensure, 1 year OR/medical-surgical experience, and current BLS/ACLS (and PALS if pediatrics are involved). Benefits include comprehensive coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS.
• PALS if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
