Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Oregon RN license in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days or current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days or current ACLS certification.
• PALS within 90 days if pediatric care is included.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments.
• Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and staff to ensure positive outcomes.
• Monitor patient status and maintain safety throughout the surgical process.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
