Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County, FL, is seeking an RN Operating Room PRN to join our surgical team. You will evaluate patients preop, assist with preparing rooms, and deliver high-quality perioperative care in a collaborative environment.

The role requires ACLS, BCLS, and PALS within 30 days of hire and an active RN license; associate degree preferred. On-call rotations may apply, and benefits accompany our PRN program.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire.
• PALS within 30 days of hire.
• Associate degree required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients for surgery including IV therapy and preoperative medications.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies and provide high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe nursing care and workflow efficiency.
