Job summary

US Fertility in Menlo Park, California is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. This role offers a consistent schedule: every other Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 2–3 holidays per year.

Compensation is $65 to $70 per hour, commensurate with experience. US Fertility provides a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow within a national network.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2–3 years operating/procedure room or PACU experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative assessment and plan care for surgery.
• Identify patient care issues and formulate plans.
• Provide comfort and psychological support to patient and family.
• Care for patients under anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications IV and other routes as directed.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in Menlo Park, California.

• Schedule: Every other Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 2 to 3 holidays per year

In this role, the OR/PACU RNwill:

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
