Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager - Surgery Services in Cherry Valley, Massachusetts. This role provides leadership to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care and optimal patient outcomes within the operating room and related services.

The position requires an active RN license in the state, 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting, and a nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
• Bachelor's or master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the senior executive (CNO) responsible for nursing and patient care functions within the hospital.
• Assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a unit level.
• Maintain 24/7 responsibility for Same Day Surgery and PACU.
• Ensure high-quality, safe nursing care, staff competency, and appropriate resource management.
