Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager, OR - Operating Room for a nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The role provides leadership to ensure high quality, safe patient care, and assumes responsibility for Same Day surgery and PACU while supporting the CNO and hospital operations. An active MA RN license is required, with 2+ years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting; a bachelor's or master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Academic degree in nursing.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization.
• Assists in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a unit level.
• Assumes 24/7 responsibility of Same Day surgery and PACU.
• Supports CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management.
• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
