Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Case Management Director for Cherry Valley, Massachusetts. The role provides overall responsibility for hospital utilization management, transition management, and operational leadership of the Case Management Department to promote safe and timely patient throughput and compliant revenue cycle processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing or Health Care Administration (or an MSW for MSW track), 3+ years in

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing or Health Care Administration for RN or Master’s in Social Work for MSW.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute hospital case management or healthcare leadership experience.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse or LCSW/LMSW license; actively licensed in the state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage department operations to assure effective throughput and reimbursement for services provided.
• Lead implementation and oversight of the hospital Utilization Management Plan using data to drive performance improvement.
• Ensure medical necessity and revenue cycle processes are completed accurately and in compliance with CMS regulations and company policy.
• Ensure timely and effective patient transition and planning to support efficient patient throughput.
• Develop and provide physician education and feedback on hospital utilization.
• Other duties as assigned.
