Job summary

The Waters is hiring an RN or LPN Unit Manager to join our TEAM!!! This role oversees resident care, coordinates with physicians, and leads nursing staff in a long-term care setting.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a structured environment with clear policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have an active IN license and strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license in good standing in Indiana.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and stay organized.
• Good judgment and decisive problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to assess residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medications per charts and policies.
• Administer treatments as prescribed.
• Consult with physicians on resident care plans.
• Communicate with the director of nursing and staff to coordinate care.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties:

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
• Prepares and administers medications charts as required
• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians
• Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements

• Long term care experience preferred
• Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed IN
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
