Qualifications & Responsibilities for RN or LPN - Unit Manager

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required
• Experience in inpatient and palliative care is preferred
• Experience managing staff is preferred
• Supervise nursing staff during your shift, including monitoring medication distribution, blood draws, and patient care activities
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times during the shift
• Provide education to staff, residents, and families as needed
• Assess patients' needs to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Track treatments and patient progress following HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure smooth recovery for residents
• Ensure staff perform duties according to local, state, and federal guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator

Schedule & Benefits

• Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with on-call requirements
