Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse in New Jersey.
- Experience in long-term care, inpatient, and palliative care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and monitor patient care activities.
- Conduct nursing rounds and assess patient needs for treatment plans.

Nurse-RN or LPN Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License OR Practical Nurse License
- Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in inpatient and palliative care is preferred.
- Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
- Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
- Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
- Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
- Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery process for residents.
- Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
