Job description

Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, located in Lakewood, NJ, is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Unit Manager to join our team of professionals!

The Unit Manager must have a valid NJ Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.

This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day patient care, supervising, directing, and developing Subacute nursing staff. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining and restoring health of residents on the unit.
2. Acting as a main point of contact between the residents and their family members.
3. Addressing and preventing concerns from residents and their family members.
4. Assisting in developing, implementing, and adjusting resident care plans as needed.
5. Supervising, counseling, and providing discipline when necessary to nursing staff on the unit.
6. Ensuring the unit meets federal and state regulatory standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
7. Delivering hands-on care and medication distribution as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Must have an active New Jersey RN or LPN license in good standing.
2. Previous management experience.
