Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking an RN or Licensed Practical Nurse for per diem/part-time roles across SIH locations in Carbondale, Marion, Herrin, and Harrisburg. The role includes perioperative support in OR/procedure areas, patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Current IL LPN or RN license and CPR certification are required. Compensation ranges from $21.42 to $33.20 per hour, commensurate with experience, with benefits info available via SIH

Responsibilities

• Conduct a focused nursing assessment and contribute to the ongoing comprehensive nursing assessment
• Collaborate in the development of the plan of care for all patients

• Advocate for the patient by communicating with health team members
