Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care to SIH patients in various units. You will assess patients, establish a compassionate environment for patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to plan and evaluate individualized care.

Responsibilities include health teaching, monitoring patient status, documenting in records, and contributing to policy development.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required.
• Nursing degree at least an associate or diploma; higher degrees preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

• Supervision and delegation of licensed practical nurse and/or unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Advocate for patient by communicating and collaborating with health care professionals.
• Float to other SIH nursing units within competency level.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience: $31.25 To $49.06
