Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO, seeks a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4E Neuro department. Part-time (24 hours/week) with 12-hour night shifts (7:00p–7:30a). Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Hold a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure; meet state board of nursing requirements.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or complete within 30 days of hire; other unit certifications as required.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, and ability to bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Department: 4E Neuro

Status: Part-Time - 24 hours/week

Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00p - 7:30a)

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Other:Physical requirements/demands:
  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
