Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4E Neuro unit. The role supports 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) with full-time (36 hours/week) schedules and Mercy-powered incentives to advance education and loan forgiveness.

New and experienced RNs can access sign-on bonuses up to $10,000, ASN-to-BSN and BSN-to-MSN bridging programs up to $16,000 each, and RN loan forgiveness to help repay student debt.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing/walking.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Other: Physical requirements/demands:
• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
