Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4E Neuro unit. This part-time position (24 hours/week) offers a 12-hour night shift (7:00p–7:30a) and opportunities for sign-on bonuses and loan forgiveness.

The qualified candidate will have an nursing degree (ADN, Diploma, or BSN), hold an RN license or compact license, and complete BLS within 30 days. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Other: Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
