Description

Provides safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. Monitors patient conditions, administers treatments and physician orders, and documents patient care accurately. Educates patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and discharge needs. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes and continuity of care. Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, leadership, and teamwork in daily nursing practice. Maintains compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, licensure, and continuing education standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required Current Kentucky RN license or Kentucky work permit required Associate degree required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred No experience required; patient care experience preferred

Certifications/Training

• BLS through the American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire
• Additional required training within 30 days may include: Glucometer Training Aegis Training RN Patient Deterioration Life Threatening Arrhythmia Nurse Wound Care Training
