Baptist Health in Richmond, KY is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab RN for a part-time, first-shift position. The unit includes a team of RNs, nuclear medicine technicians, sonographers, and exercise physiologists focused on diagnostic cardiovascular care and supporting cardiac rehab services.

The role spans assessment, care planning, direct patient care, and leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes. Weekend/holiday on-call will be rotated as part of the assignment.

Competenze

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and BLS certifications as required by department.

Summary Job Description

Cardiovascular Lab‑RN Part Time I First Shift Cardiovascular I Richmon, Ky. The Noninvasive Lab is a specialized department within a healthcare facility dedicated to performing diagnostic tests and supporting improved quality of life for patients. This unit, composed of registered nurses, nuclear medicine technicians, sonographers, and exercise physiologists, provides high-quality care to assist physicians in diagnosing, managing, and treating cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, our Cardiac Rehab program helps patients recover and improve their heart health following a cardiac event.

• Assessment of patients’ needs.
• Development of patient care plans.
• Provision of direct care.
• Management of patient care delivery.
• Demonstrate leadership skills.
• Support for quality care.
• Customer relations and a healing environment.
• On call requirement weekends/holidays picked by rotation.
• Operating Room Nurses provide care and support to patients before, during and after surgery.
• Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking and creativity.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
