Baptist Health in Kentucky seeks a Registered Nurse - Operating Room for a full-time position from 6:45a to 3:15p with call and weekend rotation. The RN provides direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, documents care and outcomes, and communicates with physicians and other hospital departments.

Requirements include ADN, KY RN license, ACLS within 6 months, BLS within 90 days, and Crisis Prevention within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
• Review and document care provided and outcomes; evaluate care.
• Prioritize care based on changing assessment and patient needs; communicate with physicians and other departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience in specialty preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
