The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for managing and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on patient contact level.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma or a multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
• Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Department-specific competencies will be completed during orientation.

Additional Requirements for Specific Departments:

• Hospice Only: Current CPR required, CHPN preferred. Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Radiology Only: Current ACLS certification required. Same driver’s license and transportation requirements.
• INTEGRIS Mental Health: Ability to operate INTEGRIS or personal vehicle, valid Oklahoma driver’s license, and acceptable driving record.
• Emergency Department Only: PALS certification within 12 months, ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

The Staff Registered Nurse's responsibilities include:

• Assessment and reassessments
• Development of care plans
• Implementation and evaluation of patient care interventions
• Supervision and coordination of care staff
• Providing guidance and mentorship to team members

The RN reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Mental Health staff must be able to assist with physical restraint of patients using the Behavior Management Technique System. Additional physical or respiratory requirements may apply. Follow standard precautions to minimize exposure to infections and hazardous materials.
