Desert Care Network, including JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, CA, seeks an OR Patient Care Coordinator (RN Ill) to lead daily unit operations in surgical services. You will supervise staff, assist with hiring and training, and ensure equipment and supplies are available to support patient care.

Qualifications

• California RN license required.
• Experience or demonstrated leadership/management skills.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The OR Patient Care Coordinator leads daily unit operations and assists with hiring and training staff.
• Supervises and evaluates staff performance and maintains staffing to meet patient needs.
• Ensures necessary equipment and supplies are available at all times.
• Develops and implements performance improvement projects to improve patient outcomes.
• Acts as a liaison between patients, staff and physicians.
