Description:

Schedule: Weekdays only, with one weekday off every two weeks.

Patient population: Adults to geriatrics.In the main operating room, we do not perform any neurosurgery, labor and delivery, endoscopy, or cardiothoracic surgeries, including complex surgeries.Most procedures are outpatient, with patients going home the same day.Typical procedures include total joints (knees, shoulders, hips), spine surgeries, sports medicine, podiatry, and general/laparoscopic surgeries, including cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, and thyroid surgeries.Robotic surgeries are also performed, including urology and colorectal procedures.Daily average census is 20-25 cases.There are 7 rooms in total.Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation.Special equipment used includes various surgical tables, laparoscopic video equipment, and robotic systems.Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time.Travelers are expected to work on designated holidays as outlined.Call requirements are minimal for weekday schedules, with provisions for weekend coverage.Pre-approved time off must be finalized prior to submission.Candidate will undergo a clinical review to determine fit.
