ARMStaffing is seeking a Charge RN for the Operating Room in Seattle for a 13-week contract. The role leads nursing staff and coordinates surgical procedures to ensure quality patient care.

Required: 2 years in an OR, charge nurse experience, Da Vinci Xi robotics, and EPIC charting with BLS certification. The assignment includes day shifts, with possible weekends and holidays, and travel/ housing considerations may apply.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10-Hour (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM). Possible weekends and holidays required.

Job Description

The Charge RN for the Operating Room will provide leadership and clinical support within the surgical environment. This role requires the ability to manage staff, facilitate excellent patient care, and coordinate activities related to surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of safe nursing care.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Assist with the orientation and training of new staff members.
• Maintain open communication with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Serve as a role model for nursing staff and ensure adherence to clinical best practices.
• Act as prescriber of education for both staff and patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have prior charge nurse experience; supervisory experience is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Competency in robotics is mandatory; experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• EPIC charting experience is necessary.
