Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC is seeking an Operating Room Circulator in Ohio for a 13-week contract. You will support the surgical team, maintain sterility, and help ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures in the operating room.

This role requires a valid RN license, a minimum of 2 years’ OR circulator experience, ACLS, and Epic charting experience is preferred. Shifts are 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, three days a week, with every third Friday and travel between Galion and Bucyrus.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.

Job Description

The Operating Room Circulator is responsible for providing support and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures. The role requires working collaboratively with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and facilitate the smooth operation of the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the activities in the operating room.
• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Ensure that all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other medical personnel.

Schedule

This position follows a 3x8.5-hour shift schedule, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, three days a week. This includes working every third Friday and floating between Galion and Bucyrus locations as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid state RN license required; pending licenses will not be accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Operating Room Circulator.
• Prior charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Current certifications such as ACLS are required.

This is a 13-week contract position.
