Description:This position will float between units as needed.On-call is required with variable call on weekends and nights, totaling 8 shifts per month.Weekends are required every 3rd or 4th weekend, depending on rotation and time-off requests.Expected patient ratios are 1:1, 1:2, or 1:4.Special requirements include 2-room operating room specialties such as Client, Ortho, GI/GS, ENT, Pain, and Dental.This position encompasses all areas in the surgery department: Pre-Op, Operating Room, PACU, and Endoscopy.Candidates must be flexible to work in any department within surgical services.Must be able to follow the patient from pre-op to discharge if required.Experience is needed in PACU, Endo, Pre-op, and Operating Room settings.Candidates should be able to circulate for C-sections.Special procedures include general surgery, orthopedic surgery, OB-GYN, and dental procedures.The facility supports interdisciplinary services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and/or loss of guaranteed hours.Communication devices, if required, will be provided at no cost.Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview.References covering 1 year within the last 3 years will be required prior to the start.
