Description:The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.The unit has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1.Staffing consists of 1 RN, 1 CST, and 1 FA per OR room.The types of equipment used include DaVinci Xi and Mazor robots, as well as Stealth Navigation.The documentation system used is Meditech.Scheduling requirements include 36 to 40 hours per week with call shifts as needed, no more than one per week.In cases of low census, floating will only occur to other ORs on campus.Candidates must have surgical experience.
Advanced skills are required as indicated in the requested skill set.Procedures performed on the unit include neurosurgery, ortho-spine surgery, orthopaedics, oral/maxillofacial surgery, plastics, colorectal, robotic general surgery, general surgery, robotic bariatric surgery, ENT, urology/cysto surgery, robotic urology surgery, robotic thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and endo-vascular surgery.
