Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN specialized in the Operating Room for a 13-week assignment. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, state or compact licensure, and ACLS/BLS certifications. Epic charting experience is mandatory, and travel experience is preferred.

The unit handles general, ortho, OB/GYN, GI, colorectal, ENT, and pain management surgeries. Shifts are day 8-hour blocks with on-call duties shared among three RNs, averaging about 10 shifts per month.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in the Operating Room for general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, GI, colorectal, ENT and pain management cases.
• Share on-call duties (approx. 10 shifts per month) with three RNs.
• Collaborate with physical therapy, radiology, pharmacy and other support teams.
• Monitor patient status and participate in recovery as needed.
• Maintain compliance and complete onboarding requirements.

Description:The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room.The shift is 5x8 hour days.Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.Epic charting experience is required.Travel experience is preferred.Certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.The unit focuses on general surgery, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, gastrointestinal, colorectal, ENT, and pain management.Call duties are split between three RNs, averaging 10 shifts per month.Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.The daily census is around 7 patients.There are 5 operating rooms available in the unit.Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.Candidates may need to recover patients if on call.All required skills for various procedures are listed and applicants should be proficient in them.Compliance and onboarding requirements must be completed as specified.
