Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced RN for an Operating Room assignment in Abilene, TX. This 13-week role requires a valid RN license and certifications including ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. Craniotomy and burr hole experience are essential, with Neuro/Spine and Trauma exposure preferred.

Schedule is Monday through Friday with call; traveler may float to other units as needed. Travel and charting proficiency are valued, with patient care typically at 1:1. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years in a relevant specialty.
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience is a must-have.
• Experience with multiple surgical procedures and charting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• ASAP start; schedule is Monday to Friday with call.
• Traveler may float to other acceptable units as needed.
• Experience in Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, General/Robotics/Trauma required.
• 1:1 patient ratio; mandatory drug screening; local travel radius.
• Experience with various surgical procedures listed (e.g., Craniotomy, Cholecystectomy, etc.).

Description:ASAP start date.Schedule is Monday to Friday with call and late days as required.Traveler may be asked to float to other acceptable units as needed.Experience in Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma is required.Charge experience is preferred.The patient ratio is typically 1:1.Experience with charting systems is preferred.Candidates must provide skills in various surgical procedures including but not limited to:

• Amputations
• Anterior cervical fusion
• Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
• Appendectomy
• Arthroscopy
• Burns
• Cervical fusions
• Cholecystectomy
• Colon resections
• Craniotomy
• Hernia repair
• Kyphoplasty
• Laminectomy
• Lumbar fusion
• Total joint replacementInterdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.Candidates must be prepared for a mandatory drug screening process.Avoid any actions that could result in a positive drug screen outcome when arriving onsite.Local travel radius applies.Previous permanent staff must have been gone for one year to be eligible to return.Candidates must complete necessary lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer.Travel experience is preferred.Laboratory and charting experiences vary by unit.
