Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in Georgia to independently plan and provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and guidelines. The RN must be licensed in Georgia, hold BLS, and have a strong patient-care focus.

Preferred qualifications include a BSN, two years of RN experience, and additional life-support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP). Color acuity may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Complies with Georgia Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
