Job summary

SCA Health in Vernon Hills, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to join our perioperative team. You will assess patients, develop perioperative care plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active state licensure, and BLS/ACLS; PALS if pediatric care is included. Prior OR or surgical experience is preferred; perioperative certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• One year of OR and/or med/surg nursing experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS/ACLS certification within required timelines; PALS if pediatric care included.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
