Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse: MN license.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Operating Room experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct team activities in the OR.
• Assure proper communication in OR among staff and surgeons.
• Develop a perioperative nursing care plan by assessing patient care needs.
• Demonstrate understanding of the hospital's mission and values and their impact on nursing practices.
• Demonstrate alignment with our behavior standards.
• Collaborate with other care staff to ensure smooth patient transitions across the facility using proper handoff techniques.
