Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• MN Registered Nurse license (MN RN).
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Operating Room experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct team activities in the OR.
• Assure proper communication in OR among staff and surgeons.
• Develop a perioperative nursing care plan through patient assessment.
• Demonstrates understanding of the hospital's mission and values and their impact on nursing practices.
• Demonstrate alignment with behavior standards.
• Collaborates with other care staff to ensure smooth patient transitions with proper hand-off techniques.
