Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System, based in Omaha, seeks an experienced registered nurse with an oncology focus to deliver high-quality care to patients and families. The role requires a BSN, an active RN license, and strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

OCN certification must be obtained within five years of hire. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5pm at the Methodist Physicians Clinic location.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; RN license required.
• Current RN license valid in work state (compact multi-state preferred).
• OCN certification required within five years of hire.
• Two years nursing experience required; ambulatory coordination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care per Population Specific Criteria.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and prevention.
• Coordinate referrals and support services across care continuum.
• Participate in treatment planning conferences with physicians and nurses.
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety.
