Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha seeks an Oncology Case Manager for outpatient coverage across multiple cancer clinics. This full-time role supports patient education, scheduling, and triage for messages and calls.

You will work with physicians and APPs to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care, with a hybrid schedule including one remote day per week. BSN and Nebraska RN licensure are required along with BLS; PALS may be required depending on department needs.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license Nebraska or Compact required.
• BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program required.
• PALS certification department dependent required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to prioritize and make independent clinical judgments required.
• Experience with interdisciplinary team collaboration required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care delivery system for a designated group to achieve high-quality, cost-effective outcomes across the continuum of care.
• Educate patients and coordinate scheduling and triage for messages and calls.
• Provide coverage at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Village Pointe Cancer Clinic, and Bellevue Cancer Clinic.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to ensure seamless outpatient oncology services.
