Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Olathe, KS is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) on the Resource Team for days part-time. The RN provides holistic nursing care using the nursing process and coordinates with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include safe medication administration, triage, patient education, leadership within the team, and ongoing professional development in line with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; ADN or BSN preferred.
• ADN-to-BSN agreement may be required within five years.
• Licensed RN in Kansas or compact license; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including specified oncology treatments as prescribed.
• Triage calls, evaluate patient needs, and coordinate care with team.
• Lead in implementing care plans and mentor other team members.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document findings.
• Ensure a safe patient environment and adhere to policies.
