Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma, ADN; BSN must be completed within five years per ADN-to-BSN agreement
• RN license in Kansas or compact license; CPR/BLS within 14 days
• Unit-specific certifications may be required per unit

Responsibilities

• Adheres to medication safety policies and correct administration practices
• Answer calls, triage patient care needs
• Provide direct nursing care including chemotherapy and other oncology treatments
• Lead and mentor teammates; coordinate health care services
• Educate patients and families using available resources
• Demonstrate critical thinking and use nursing process to develop and evaluate care plans
