Job summary

Lowry Hills Care and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced full-time RN for the NOC shift (6am-6pm) to oversee nursing staff and deliver high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing environment. Competitive pay ranges and opportunities for training and career growth are offered.

You must hold an active RN license in Colorado (or a compact state). Prior RN/LPN experience in a nursing setting is preferred. Join a compassionate team dedicated to resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required or preferred.
• Active licensed RN in Colorado or compact state.
• 2+ years of RN/LPN experience in a nursing community preferred.
• Desire to care for residents with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and non-professional nursing staff.
• Ensure quality of care by rounds assessing effectiveness and resident satisfaction.
• Manage overall building operations for the assigned shift.
• Explain nursing policies and provide staff training.
• Participate in evaluation and motivation of staff with the DON.
• Coordinate care with directors, physicians, and families.
• Provide nursing care explanations to residents and families.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with EMS when needed.
• Ensure safety and maintenance of nursing units and equipment.
• Assist in orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
