Job summary

Spirit Hospice of Georgia is seeking an on-call hospice nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care during nights and after-hours emergencies. This 7-on, 7-off schedule keeps days free while ensuring visits are needed and timely.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia.
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
• Reliable and legal transportation to and from patient's residence.
• Hospice or home care experience is a plus, but kindness and reliability matter most.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours on-call hospice nursing visits as needed.
• Support triage process to determine visits and priorities.
• Deliver compassionate patient and family care with a team-focused approach.

Hospice is a 24/7 service, and so are we. We know emergencies don’t clock out at 5 p.m., which is why we’re looking for an on-call hospice nurse to step in when patients need you most. This 7-on, 7-off role keeps your days free and your nights on standby. Thanks to our triage process, our nurse's phone will only ring after hours when a visit is truly needed (no midnight calls for paper cuts, we promise).

Position Requirements:

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification
• Reliable and legal transportation to and from patient's place of residence
• Hospice or home care experience is a plus, but kindness and reliability matter the most
