Job summary

Spirit Hospice of Georgia is seeking an on-call hospice nurse to respond after hours when patients need you most. This 7-on, 7-off role keeps your days free and your nights on standby, with triage to ensure visits are needed.

You must hold a current RN license in Georgia and CPR & First Aid certifications, have reliable transportation, and hospice or home care experience is a plus; we value kindness and reliability above all.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Reliable transportation to/from patient residences is essential.
• Hospice or home care experience is a plus; kindness and reliability matter most.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours hospice nursing care as part of a 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Respond to triage calls and visit patients when visits are truly needed.

This 7-on, 7-off role keeps your days free and your nights on standby. Thanks to our triage process, our nurse's phone will only ring after hours when a visit is truly needed (no midnight calls for paper cuts, we promise).

Position Requirements:

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification
• Reliable and legal transportation to and from patient's place of residence
• Hospice or home care experience is a plus, but kindness and reliability matter the most
