Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Occupational Health unit. You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate patient care plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

The role requires an RN license in Virginia (or a Compact license), BLS certification, and 3–5 years of RN experience. Typical duties include medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and discharge planning coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Virginia RN license or Compact license.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 3–5 years RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient assessment to determine required care.
• Administer prescribed medications following the 5 rights.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient conditions using electronic systems.
• Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and discharge planning.
