Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital is seeking an NICU Registered Nurse to provide clinical nursing care for neonates and infants in the NICU, performing assessments, interventions and family teaching in line with policy. You will recognize developmental stages and support the infant's outcome while participating in a hardworking, compassionate team.

Qualifications include BSN preferred, current Virginia RN license (or compact), current BLS, and at least two years NICU experience; strong communication

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN license.
• BSN preferred and Virginia or compact RN license.
• Current BLS certification and NICU experience.
• Two years NICU RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform neonatal assessments and interventions in the NICU.
• Recognize developmental stages and support outcomes.
• Provide family teaching and support to the unit families.
• Communicate effectively with the health care team and document care.
