Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care for patients, aligning the nursing process with medical plans and hospital policies at Bradley Medical Center. This full-time role requires licensure, BLS/ACLS, and prior hospital experience.

Candidates should be prepared to uphold professional ethics, participate in quality improvement, and implement age-appropriate care while educating patients about their rights and care plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Diploma preferred.
• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS required. If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, or employment status or patients of Bradley Medical Center and their families.
• Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital.
• Participate in Performance improvement activities.
• Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age specific patient care.
• Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner.
• Develops, implements, and updates plan of care.
• Educates and adhere to patient bill of rights.

JOB SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervision and evaluation the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.
