Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; must obtain within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing in Michigan.
• BLS certification (CPR) required by completion of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage care delivery for patients throughout stay to achieve quality outcomes.
• Utilize nursing process: assessment, planning, diagnosis, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with other professionals and delegate tasks within scope of nursing practice.
• Document patient responses, resource use and anticipated needs at each shift.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and education during care delivery.
