Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit on a full-time night shift. The RN will manage care delivery, coordinate with the care team, document patient responses, and ensure timely discharge while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN within 8 years for Bronson policy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; must obtain BSN within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Michigan; BLS/ACLS as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Document patient response, resource use and discharge needs.
• Ensure safe, timely discharge and maintain core quality standards.
