Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinical Decision Unit.

Join our 24-bed observation/medical unit to care for chest pain, kidney stones, and minor surgeries, while supporting overflow medical-surgical patients.

You will apply the nursing process, pursue evidence-based practice, and collaborate with our hospitalist team to deliver safe, compassionate care and an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience using evidence-based practice and effective communication.
