Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking a Triage RN to join our OBGYN Medicine Practice in Baltimore, MD. This full-time, day-shift role offers the opportunity to work with renowned Johns Hopkins nurses and staff and participate in comprehensive patient care.

You will assess patients, coordinate care, and respond to urgent triage needs while educating patients on acute and chronic conditions. A team-oriented environment and bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate/Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Required)
• Minimum one year experience (Required)
• OBGYN outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Team player

This RN position will:

• Provide and coordinate care to patients.
• Employ the nursing process to obtain objective and subjective data about the patient and develop a plan of care.
• Respond to incoming patient calls, and MyChart messages requiring triage of urgent symptoms.
• Provide patient education for acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Support the practice as needed for regulatory and operational issues.
• Guide and advise other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes. Collaborate with quality management and case management teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors' Degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Minimum one (1) year experience (Required)
• Previous experience in OBGYN outpatient clinic (Highly Preferred)
• Bilingual English / Spanish is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Strong clinical assessment skills

Salary Range:

Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
